On 7^th July 2020, CS of Education, Prof George Magoha announced that primary and secondary schools will remain closed until  January 2021, meaning that the entire 2020 academic year will have to be repeated.  Through this email, I would like to share the results that are part of  TIFA’s monthly multi-round panel survey amongst residents of Nairobi’s low-income areas (i.e Huruma, Kibera, Mathare, Korogocho, Mukuru Kwa Njenga, Kawangware). 

This report shares the perspectives of Nairobi’s low-income earners on the following;

• Incidence of children’s learning at home
• How they are accessing learning content
• Domestic violence against children, women, and men
