The release of the Media Landscape Report 2019 took place today 10th July 2019 at the Serena Hotel, from 7.30am to 10am. This report was compiled by the joint effort of TIFA Research and Reelforge Media Intelligence.
The Media Landscape Report 2019 examined the transformation in media over the last five years and the key change drivers. In addition, the report provided an analysis of the state of the media before and after the digital migration.
The launch presentation covered key insights that included;
- Media platforms access – which platforms are growing and which ones are declining in terms of audiences.
- Advertising expenditure – trended by platforms, by sector and top 10 advertisers over the last 5 years
- Editorial content analysis – which story themes have the most coverage, which political leaders have the most coverage and governors with high media coverage
- Digital content – trends on the top themes/content that Kenyans are reading online
