Today, TIFA Research released a poll on the “Social-Economic Impact of Covid-19 Global Pandemic in Nairobi’s Low-Income Areas”. This is Round Two Survey done in Nairobi slums and the findings show things are getting worse for these populations.   

The key highlights are high unemployment, loss of income and reduced savings are key challenges for this population. Hunger is the foreseeable challenge anticipated inf the virus and lock-down continue. These could lead to increased crime in Nairobi and other challenges.
